Child information (wristbands, kids dining, quiet areas, advise for those with young children)
If you're visiting Hyde Park Winter Wonderland with children, here are some helpful things to know before you go:
-We have wristbands for children; these are available free of charge. You can write your contact number on the wristband in case you and your child get separated. We recommend setting a meeting point with your children as soon as you arrive.
-There are plenty of family-friendly food stall options throughout the event. Our choices range from several things to festive treats and hot drinks. Seating is available in food areas, but these can become very busy during peak periods. There is a dedicated family dining area available called the Jingle Bell Bistro
-If your child needs a break from the crowds, lights or music, there is a covered quiet area near the family entrance on the northside of the site. This space had neutral lighting and no music making the perfect escape from the event.
Some tips for families with young children:
-Try to visit during off peak times for a more relaxed experience. See our quieter times HERE
-Bring a buggy or pushchair as you could be standing a walking a lot during your visit.
-Dress appropriately for the weather, whilst we cannot predict all weather conditions it would be best to be prepared for all scenarios.
